The Iranian Group Theory Conference (IGTC) is an annual event primarily aimed at exchanging the latest research findings and advanced theories among prominent national and international researchers in the field. It also provides an invaluable opportunity for students to become acquainted with new horizons in research. This academic gathering serves as a unique platform for presenting cutting-edge research and will inspire students to deepen and expand their knowledge in group theory.
The 18th edition of the conference will be held in-person on February 5-6, 2026 (16th and 17th of Bahman 1404 in the Persian calendar), at the Faculty of Basic Sciences and Engineering, Gonbad Kavous University. This year, alongside theoretical and fundamental discussions, a comprehensive approach will place applied research in group theory at the forefront of attention.
